The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology (DHS S&T) Directorate is hosting a multi-agency operational exercise to assess the impact of Electronic Warfare threats on first responder communications systems and identify mitigation strategies. This exercise will take place at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico in July 2016. DHS S&T is looking for first responders in all disciplines to bring their teams and communications equipment suites to the test range with the objective (among others) to assess and understand the impact of electronic warfare on first responder mission response and identify gaps in training, techniques, and procedures.
Please see this DHS S&T information sheet for details. If you require additional information or wish to participate in this exercise, please contact Jessica.Kaputa@hq.dhs.gov as soon as possible and no later than February 29, 2016.
