Microsoft has released February 2021 security updates to address at least 56 vulnerabilities in their software.  One of the vulnerabilities is already being actively exploited, and six others have been publicized, giving potential cybercriminals a head start.  The latest security release consists of updates for software including:

  • You can view the entire list of affected software and the security update deployment information here.  CISA recommends users and administrators to apply the necessary updates as a remote attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.
