The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) and the National Regional Planning Council (NRPC) released an updated report on deployable trunked deployments at 700 MHz.  The latest revised report, released Aug. 25, 2021, incorporates revisions to reflect experience gained and to include the option for encryption to protect public safety communications at some incidents.
The update is the third version of the document, originally issued in October 2015.  The report addressed recommended technical and logistical solutions to implement deployable trunked systems on 700 MHz band channels the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) had designated for such use.  2020 revisions to the report addressed solutions to a technical problem that arose with a specific subset of deployable operations, in which out-of-area radios roamed onto a deployable system.
The latest Aug. 25, 2021, revised report is titled "700 MHz Nationwide Deployable Trunked Solutions:  A Report by NPSTC and the NRPC" and is available here.
