Join the 700 MHz Broadband Network Requirements Task Force

The primary purpose of the Task Force is to develop recommendations on the minimum elements required for a National Interoperability Framework to help ensure interoperability across all systems deployed. The Task Force will NOT be re-defining the Statement of Requirements (SoR) NPSTC issued on November 13, 2007. Under a regional model, it is our expectation that any region deploying its own system will define the requirements to provide operability for that respective area. We expect to complete the project by the end of August 2009. We encourage you to participate in the Task Force and/or its discussions to assist in completing this process and would appreciate your time as a volunteer.

There are three Task Force Work Groups to join and provide input. Please choose one or all three and place the name(s) in the registration form below.

Operations: This group will be lead by the public safety practitioners who will describe the impact of broadband, based on operations in the field.

Technical: This group will work within the parameters that use LTE as the selected standard and focus on what regional operators need to know to ensure roaming and interoperability.

Governance: This group will develop templates for regional operators to use for roaming and interoperability on regional systems.
