(Courtesy SAFECOM/NCSWIC Funding and Sustainment Committee) At SAFECOM's in-person meeting in Norman, OK, a copy of the LMR Presentation developed by the SAFECOM/NCSWIC Funding and Sustainment Committee was presented. The presentation is intended to help stakeholders educate elected officials and funders on LMR technologies (in general) and on the stakeholder's specific current communications systems, gaps, and needs. It includes several standard slides on LMR technologies and several slides that can be customized with stakeholder-specific information. Several states have already used this template to engage in discussions with elected officials and funders and have found it useful to start the conversation on communication needs. This version has been updated to include the new SAFECOM/NCSWIC logos.
